*To encourage appreciation of the use of the IB criteria in the judgment and marking of work, both oral and written, produced by students.

*To provoke discussion on the value of lesson plans, time scheduling, and individualization of teaching in the English B programme.

* To provoke discussion on the use of printed, oral and IT material in class, and on the selection of such
Material.

*To investigate with the participants in the workshop the adaptation to the English B programme of local programmers, timetabling and needs.
